A British cruise ship entertainer, Arron Hough is missing after going overboard on Christmas Day. The rescue team has been searching throughout the night for him. Arron was working in the entertainment team on board of the “Harmony of the Seas”. According to reports, he did not show up for work on Tuesday. Whereas, footage from surveillance camera disclosed that he was seen entering deck five around 4 a.m. A representative of the ship said that Arron did not appear in any other footage after that. According to the reports, the cruise was 267 miles northwest of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico when they discovered his missing.
Moreover, Harmony of the Seas is the World’s largest cruise ship. According to the Royal Caribbean website, the cruise costs $1 billion. The Harmony of the Seas can carry 6,780 guests, and crew up to 2,100. The cruise set off from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and approached to Philipsburg, St Maarten. The ship was supposed to have a seven-day Caribbean journey when the coast guard revealed the entertainer was missing. The Coast Guard said it had dispensed a Clearwater HC-130 Hercules airplane crew and the Coast Guard Cutter Resolute in the search. The rescue team searched for 83 hours by covering an area of more than 3,700 square miles. Currently, the US Coast Guard has stopped the investigation for the missing British cruise ship entertainer.
Commander Christopher Douglas, Coast Guard Sector San Juan chief of response said that they have been in contact with Arron’s family. He said that stopping a search is the most difficult decision for them. However, Arron Hough joined the cast of Grease the musical on Harmony of Seas via an agency Russell Smith Associates. The talent agency said that he was a fresh graduate of the Urdang Academy which is a dance and musical theatre college in London. The London based agency said their prayers are with Arron and his family. Also, they hope that he will be found soon.
